“In the future, I would like to see skaters Boykova and Kozlovsky have more interesting programs” – Arthur Dmitriev

Two-time Olympic champion Artur Dmitriev says he would like to see European pairs skating champions in 2020 Alexandra Boykova And Dmitri Kozlovsky more interesting programs.

On Saturday, Boykova and Kozlovsky won silver at the Russian Championship in Chelyabinsk, scoring 236.32 points on two skates. Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov won (244.85), Ekaterina Chikmareva and Matvey Yanchenkov (227.97) took third place.

In May this year, Boykova and Kozlovsky left coach Tamara Moskvina for Eteri Tutberidze.

— I would say that Sasha and Dima have become a little more motivated in their skating. Thanks to this, the quality of movements has become better. But don’t forget that they won the Russian Championship last year against Mishina and Gallyamov while still in Tamara Nikolaevna’s group. And they started learning the quadruple throw from the previous coach, not the new one. In the future, I would of course like to see more interesting programs from Boykova and Kozlovsky,” Dmitriev said according to RT.
