Earlier, Olympic champion Natalya Bestemyanova said in an interview with Soviet Sport that Tarasova insulted and humiliated figure skaters during broadcasts.
Tarasova said: “I am satisfied with our work at this championship. We worked well together. No one was insulted and no one was offended among the skaters. I don’t know why Bestemyanova expressed such words ; if something is wrong, it’s better to point out that she did it.”
