Athletistic/ Figure skating. This week the Russian Figure Skating Championships took place in Chelyabinsk. Olympic champion Kamila Valieva was in the lead after the short program, but finished third overall, failing to land quadruple jumps in her free program. Russian Championship bronze medalist Katarina Gerboldt spoke about this.
– Of course, this is no longer Valieva’s maximum. She had much better performances and seasons than today. Unfortunately, that is the case this season. I think she’s going to try to resolve that,” Herboldt said on “Championship.”
