As became known Sports Arenaon the coaching staff of Rivne Veresa a number of changes took place. Coach Veresa Oleg Shandruk spoke about the beginning of cooperation with three assistants.
“I’m taking with me two coaches from our youth team – Yuri Kosobutsky and Roman Gandzin. Also a new person in our headquarters is Oleg Gerasimyuk. We have known Oleg for a long time; he has experience working at the amateur level. Perhaps we will still have other specialists.”
On December 12, Veres announced his separation from head coach Sergei Lavrinenko. The decision was approved by the supervisory board of the Rivne club. Oleg Shandruk was quickly appointed as a replacement. Lavrinenko himself stated that he did not sign documents terminating the contract with the Rivne team.
Veres President Ivan Nadein denied rumors about the club’s bankruptcy. The president said Veres plans to fight to retain his place in the elite division and expects to strengthen during the winter transfer window.
Veres is in penultimate place in the UPL with 12 points. In the next round the Rivne team will play Kolos. The base date for the 18th round match is February 24, 2024.
