Taekwondo player Mirzoev was recognized as the strongest young athlete
National Olympic Committee of Ukraine recognized freestyle skier Dmitry Kotovsky as the best athlete of December 2023 in Ukraine. Dmitry’s personal mentor – Enver Ablaev — became the best coach of the month.
Let us remind you that in early December, in less than a week, Kotovsky won a bronze medal in the Finnish Ruka at the World Cup stage in ski acrobatics, and then became the winner of the European Cup stage.
Taekwondo player recognized as the best young athlete of November Samir Mirzoev. His mentor is Oleg Mashkin — received an award for the best coach of a young athlete.
Mirzoev won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 58 kg at the 2023 Youth Taekwondo European Championship, which was held from December 7 to 10 in Bucharest (Romania).
For training the best athlete of December 2023, Dmitry Kotovsky, the Ukrainian Ski Federation and the Dynamo Sports Society of Ukraine will also receive an award.
Let us remind you that the NOC of Ukraine recognized track and field athlete Yaroslava Maguchikh as the strongest athlete in 2023. The strongest young athlete in the past year was swimmer Alexander Zheltyakov.
