World figure skating champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva said her biggest purchase thanks to the prize money was an apartment.
At the end of October, 27-year-old Tuktamysheva announced that she had decided to take a break from her professional career.
— The biggest purchase is an apartment in St. Petersburg. Nowadays, real estate prices are so high that you still have to save; you can’t buy it impulsively. It’s not that I liked the apartment and saved up to buy it, on the contrary, I saved money, thought about where to invest it and I chose an apartment,” Tuktamysheva wrote in her blog on Sports.ru.
Tuktamysheva is world champion, European champion, winner of the Grand Prix final of the 2014/15 season.
