One of the club’s legends could become the new head coach of Vorskla

The most likely candidates are Armend Dallku and Jovan Markoski

As became known Sports Arena, Vorskla is considering offering a post head coach one of the legionnaires – club legends.

According to our data, taking into account the presence of the appropriate coaching license, we are talking about an Albanian Armene Dallcu or Serbian Jovane Markoski.

40-year-old Dallku played for Vorskla for 11 years as a defender – 337 matches in total. Since 2019, he has been working as a head coach – first in Pristina (Kosovo), and from 2020 to the present day – in Dukagjini (from the same place).

43-year-old playmaker Markoski gave Vorskla nine years, played 257 matches, and made 43 assists. Just last year, Jovan finished his career in Radnički (Obrenovac), and is currently coaching this club from the third highest division in Serbia.

Let us remind you that on December 20, Vorskla announced the termination of cooperation with Viktor Skripnik, who officially found a job at Metalist 1925.

Subsequently, Vorskla vice-president Oleg Lysak said that “legionnaires, former football players” were being considered for the post of new head coach [полтавского клуба]who trained and are now training.”

The Poltava team, led by Skrypnyk, finished the first part of the championship in seventh place, with 23 points.

In the 18th round of the UPL, Vorskla will play away against Zorya. The base date of the tour is February 24.
