All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches for the sixth time in its history called the best mentor of Ukraine in 2023 among amateur clubs. In the past year, the best coach in amateur football was a mentor Mirovskoy Friendship Dmitry Chirikal.
When choosing the winner, both international and domestic tournaments were taken into account, in particular the UEFA Regions Cup (during the years it was held), the Ukrainian Championship and Cup among amateurs and all other official tournaments under the auspices of the AAFU and regional federations on the annual calendar cycle.
In 2023, five specialists applied for the award: in addition to Dmitry Chirikal, they are Olimpia coach Alexander Bezugly, Sturm head coach Vladimir Bondarenko, Kulikov-Yunost coach Bogdan Kostik and Odessa Titan helmsman Yuri Kulish.
