As a football player, he also played for the Ukrainian national team, where he played 16 matches and scored 3 goals.

In December 2015, Alexander Melashchenko joined the coaching staff of the Ukrainian youth team. Now he works together with Ruslan Rotan in the country’s Olympic team.

According to Sport Arena, legionnaires-legends of the Poltava club – Albanian Armen Dallku and Serbian Jovan Markoski – are also vying for the vacant post of head coach of Vorskla.

Let us remind you that on December 20, Vorskla announced the termination of cooperation with Viktor Skripnik, who officially found a job at Metalist 1925.
