Nepomniachtchi conceded with the black pieces. In seven rounds, the grandmaster won three times, drew one match and suffered two defeats.

Recall that the World Rapid Chess Championship takes place in Samarkand from December 26 to 30. From December 26 to 28, athletes will compete for the rapid title, and from December 29 to 30, the blitz world champion will be determined.
