Athletistic / Figure skating. Choreographer Alexei Zheleznyakov named the strengths of the honored figure skating coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze. The choreographer left Khrustalny in November this year.
“Eteri Georgievna is a strong psychologist, a competent leader in terms of management and personnel selection. For 15 years I saw many people who passed through her school, but did not get along or she dismissed herself. At one time we had a wonderful team – Sergey Dudakov, Daniil Gleikhengauz. The phenomenon of the school lies precisely in teamwork, where everyone is unique and the mechanism works like a Swiss watch. Without Tutberidze’s instinct and correct vision, nothing like this would have happened, but she sees 15 steps to follow.
We never had parties or celebrations together. There were meetings, like the rink anniversary, where everyone talked, but never outdoor events. Some form of familiarity in such matters is unacceptable. Everyone has their own life. We are like a family, but only in working moments,” Zhelezniakov said, as quoted by Match TV.
Alexey Zheleznyakov collaborated with Tutberidze throughout his career in Russia. He practiced dance exercises with all of Eteri Georgievna’s titled students, including Evgenia Medvedeva, Alina Zagitova, Anna Shcherbakova, Alexandra Trusova and Kamila Valieva.
