The extraordinary congress of the Association will take place on January 25
Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) officially announced Andrey Shevchenko the only candidate for the post President of the UAF.
The registration commission held a meeting on December 27. Shevchenko’s candidacy was nominated by all permanent members of the UAF. There were no other candidates for the post of head of the association.
On December 12, Andrei Shevchenko was officially nominated as a candidate for the post of UAF president. The ex-coach of the Ukrainian national team accepted the offer to run for a responsible post, taking time to prepare a program and select a team.
It was reported that Shevchenko would arrive in Kyiv on January 10, 2024. It is expected that at the same time, specifics will appear about his future assistants as head of the Association.
The UAF Executive Committee officially approved the holding of the Extraordinary Congress of the UAF on January 25, 2024. The meeting will take place in the Kiev House of Football, starting at 12:00. At the same time, the congress agenda was approved, one of the items of which is “On the election of the UAF President.”
