The start of the season for the Ukrainian will take place on January 20 at competitions in Dortmund
Ukrainian athlete Marina Bekh-Romanchuk said that she plans to perform at the winter World Championship 2024 in Glasgow.
“Some starts will take place in training mode. This will allow you to approach the main competitions in optimal shape. The official start in the winter is the World Championships in Glasgow, which is what we will be preparing for.”
“The winter season is very short, essentially 5 weeks. That is, we will reach peak form due to these starts preceding the world championship. For me, the winter seasons always fly by instantly,” said the athlete.
Bekh-Romanchuk will begin the winter season on January 20 at the World Series tournament in Dortmund on January 20. The Ukrainian will compete in the long jump and 60-meter run. Later, Marina will take part in competitions in Dusseldorf and Berlin.
The 2024 World Indoor Championships will take place in Glasgow from 1 to 3 March 2024. At the previous world championship in 2022, Bekh-Romanchuk won silver in the triple jump.
