Alexey Yatsenko recognized as the best coach of the year in college football
The best trainer women’s football version All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches became a mentor of Poltava Vorskla Natalia Zinchenko.
The jury of the above-mentioned organization, together with the UAF Women’s Football Committee, unanimously awarded the award to the mentor, who, together with Vorskla, won the championship and the Ukrainian Cup in the past year.
Zinchenko becomes the winner of the award for the second time in a row – she was recognized as the best in this category at the end of 2021, and last year the competition was not held.
The All-Ukrainian Association of Coaches recognized him as the best coach in college football. Alexey Yatsenko, mentor of SK KNTEU-Mercury. The list of achievements of the 51-year-old coach includes victories in the championship and cup of Ukraine among universities in the 2022/23 season; “silver” at the World University Championships 2023; “bronze” European Championship among universities 2023. For Yatsenko, this victory was the third in the competition and the second in a row.
Let us remind you that the best coach of the Ukrainian Premier League in 2023, according to the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches, was Krivbass coach Yuriy Vernidub.
Also, the All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches named the best coaches among amateurs and PFL. Mirovskaya Druzhba coach Dmitry Chirikal, as well as Mariupol coach Oleg Krasnoperov and Chaika coach Sergei Sizikhin received their awards.
