Nikolai Moroshkin, choreographer of the sports club Tamara Moskvina spoke about the attitude towards the work of the skater of their group Pierre Gumennik With Daniel Gleikhengauz on the staging of the free program.
This season, the 21-year-old skater performs a free program to the music of the film “The Picture of Dorian Gray”, directed for him by Gleikhengauz and Eteri Tutberidze.
– There is no jealousy. I am for athletes to always develop and try to work with new choreographers. I don’t see the point in putting on programs with the same choreographers.
For Dorian Gray, we were looking for an acting specialist for Petra to fully reveal her character. Throughout the season, we try to improve all aspects of each program,” Moroshkin said as quoted by “Championship”.
In December, at the Russian Championships in Chelyabinsk, Gumennik finished 4th in the short program and won the free program, which allowed him to take the final third place.
