During the voting, Vanat received 62% of the votes. The forward beat winger Andrei Yarmolenko, goalkeeper Georgy Buschan, captain Vitaly Buyalsky and centerback Denis Popov.
Vanat is one of Dynamo’s leaders this season. He has seven goals and five assists in 16 appearances for the Blues and Whites in all competitions.
