Triple Olympic synchronized swimming champion Maria Kiseleva believes that the geography of the “Olympic Champions Show”, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, can be further expanded.
The initiators and organizers of the “Show of Olympic Champions” are Kiseleva and three-time Olympic champion Olga Brusnikina, who previously performed as a duo. The “show” was held for the first time in five Russian cities in 2023.
– There are no borders! Now these are five cities, but how many are there in Russia, how many cities are there outside our country? Everyone should know how strong, titled and inaccessible Russian synchronized swimming is,” Kiseleva told reporters.
— From the point of view of popularizing our sport, this is a very important project. This is an opportunity to attract new children and athletes to fall in love with synchronized swimming, just like we did in the past,” Brusnikina noted.
On Saturday, at the Dynamo swimming pool in Moscow, the anniversary “Show of Olympic Champions” will take place, in which the leaders of the Russian national team and Olympic champions of past years will take part.
