“Was there a desire for revenge? There was no such goal. I thought I was going to learn six jumps and show them to everyone.
But then she came back to reality. Did you not participate in the next Olympic Games? Well, okay,” Medvedeva said in an interview with Okko Sport.
Medvedeva is also a double world and European champion (2016, 2017).
Since February 2022, Russian figure skaters have been suspended from international competitions. It is unclear when the ban will be lifted.
