New Year’s Eve – time for summing up results and unique ratings, surveys, nominations. The best sportsman and sportswoman, team and events – all these things are already habitually considered an immutable attribute the last week before the New Year. But hardly anyone will argue with the fact that it has been two years of a big war and almost ten years of war waged by Russia against our country. in Ukraine there is only one best team – the country’s Armed Forces.

No matter how loud and even seemingly significant the achievements of Ukrainian athletes and teams, they all pale in comparison to the feat of our military. In the end, all these achievements and results, as well as the stories about them, and the whole life of the country would have been impossible without the heroism and titanic work of our soldiers. With all due respect to our athletes, who deserve their share of recognition and praise, today in Ukraine there is only one main team – the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

But even if you approach the assessment of the results of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023 very sparingly and very subjectively, the dry numbers make you grab your head. More than 250 thousand destroyed invaders, almost 3,000 tanks, about 1,000 cruise missiles are the result of the daily and very effective work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Daring forays behind enemy lines, destroyed ships and a submarine, a strike on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet, the downing of several of the most modern aircraft for the Russian Federation in one operation, holding a bridgehead in Krynki, the battle for Bakhmut and Avdeevka – all these operations will easily take all the nominations among the events of the passing year. And all of them are the merit of the main team of the country, the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Probably, there is no one left in Ukraine, except for the military personnel themselves, whose relatives, friends, and acquaintances do not protect our country and who were not touched by the war unleashed by Russia, which brought enormous grief and destruction to our country. But we know that we have the best team in the world – the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Remember this, believe and support the Ukrainian Armed Forces! They will definitely make us happy more than once, and will do everything to ensure that the main victory of Ukraine in its 32-year history takes place as soon as possible.
