“In 2024, I wish Russian figure skating to improve. And, of course, I wish health to our athletes,” Tarasova said, as quoted by the Championship.
Tatiana Tarasova returned to her work as a commentator at major Russian national competitions in 2023. The legendary coach worked on Channel One for the 2024 Russian Championship. At the tournament in Chelyabinsk, Adelia Petrosyan became the strongest figure skater in the country and Evgeniy Semenenko retained the title of men’s champion. Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov became the best in pair skating, and the duet of Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin won in ice dancing.
