Leading Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina commented on her victory in the debut match of the year and shared her plans for the season.
“I’m really enjoying the time my family and I are spending in New Zealand. This is my first time in this beautiful country. And I also won such a wonderful victory today. Caroline is a strong tennis player and I’m glad for her that she’s back on Tour and that we can finally play longer rallies again.”
