The Chilean’s contract with the Nerazzurri expires in June 2024
Attack Inter Alexis Sanchez received offers from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Brazil, but intends to finish the season at his current club.
The Chilean moved to the Milan club as a free agent, signing a contract until June 30, 2024. The black and blues are not going to renew the agreement with the 35-year-old footballer.
Sanchez has previously played for Inter, making over 100 appearances and scoring 20 goals between 2019 and 2022. This season, Alexis has played in 13 matches, scoring twice (both times in the Champions League).
In addition to the Milan club, the Chilean played for Cobreloa, Udinese, Colo-Colo, River Plate, Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Marseille. In France, for some time he was a partner of the Ukrainian Ruslan Malinovsky.
For the Chilean national team, Sanchez played 155 matches and scored 51 goals – this is the best number of goals scored in the history of the team.
Inter is in first place in Serie A, two points ahead of Juventus. On January 6, the Nerazzurri will host Verona.
