Athletistic / Others. The International Sports Press Association has presented its ten best athletes of the year. They were determined based on the votes of 405 journalists from 107 countries.

Among the men, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic was named best athlete of the year. The women’s competition was won by American gymnast Simone Biles, who returned to her career.
