The player will receive free agent status
Ukrainian defender Dinamo Zagreb Bogdan Mikhailichenko can replenish the Ukrainian diaspora in Championship.
It is reported that an unnamed club in England’s second division is interested in the player. The defender also continues to be on the Polesie shortlist. Previously, the defender of the interest was Westerlo, for whom another Ukrainian, Sergei Sidorchuk, stands.
Dinamo Zagreb head coach Sergei Yakirovich suspended Ukrainian defender Bogdan Mikhailichenko from the main team due to the player’s behavior. Yakirovic does not count on a defender and will allow him to leave in the winter transfer window. Mikhailichenko is training with the youth team and plans to receive free agent status in the near future.
Mikhailichenko moved to the Croatian club this summer from Anderlecht. The 26-year-old Ukrainian’s contract runs until the summer of 2024 with an option to extend for another season. Bogdan played 15 matches for Dinamo Zagreb in all tournaments, in which he scored two assists.
Let us remind you that two Ukrainian forwards play in the Championship. Nazariy Rusin plays for Sunderland, and Nikolai Kukharevich is in the Swansea squad.
