Athletistic/Chess. Russian State Duma deputy and former world boxing champion Nikolai Valuev expressed his opinion regarding the behavior of Polish chess player Jan-Krzysztof Duda, who refused to shake hands with Russian Denis Khismatullin during the Championship fast world.
The incident occurred on December 26 before the start of the first round of the World Rapid Championship in Samarkand (Uzbekistan), when Khismatullin reached out to shake his hand, but Duda refused.
