Elina made it to the quarterfinals of the tournament in Auckland
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina commented on her progress to the quarterfinals of the tournament WTA 250 in New Zealand Auckland.
“It was a really great match from both of us, Emma played great too. It was very difficult physically. I hope that I will recover for tomorrow’s match. And I hope that the audience will also come tomorrow to support me and give me strength.”

The Ukrainian defeated Briton Emma Raducana in three sets in the second round of the tournament in Auckland. At the start of the competition, Elina beat former world number one Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark.
Svitolina is ranked 25th in the WTA rankings. In the next match, the Ukrainian will meet with Marie Bouzkova from the Czech Republic.
