Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova supported current Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to run as a candidate in the 2024 presidential elections.

The Russian presidential elections will be held from March 15 to 17, 2024.
Zagitova won gold at the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang. The 21-year-old figure skater also achieved victories at the World Championships and European Championships.
