Ukrainian striker Girona Artem Dovbik was recognized best player in La Liga in December 2023.
The forward played four fights last month. The Ukrainian scored four goals in them (one each against Barcelona and Betis, two against Alaves) and helped Girona score a total of 10 points out of 12.
In the voting, the Ukrainian scorer managed to beat Las Palmas goalkeeper Alvaro Valles, Real Madrid forward Rodrigo, Getafe forward Borja Mayoral and Athletic winger Iñaki Williams.
This season, Dovbik has played 19 matches for Girona in all competitions. The Ukrainian has 11 goals and 7 assists. Artem was recognized as the club’s best player in November.
Girona ranks second in La Liga, behind Real Madrid in additional indicators. The team of Dovbik and Viktor Tsygankov will play their next match tomorrow, January 6, in the Spanish Cup against Elche.
