The President of the Russian Diving Federation, Stanislav Druzhinin, in a conversation with a correspondent of the website, commented on the TV channel’s provocative video for the Russian Diving Championship in Penza.

The promo video of the tournament, produced by , shows a dialogue in a café between a Frenchman, a Hungarian and a Russian. The Frenchman praises the organization of diving in his country, where the competition takes place against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. The Hungarian praises Budapest’s swimming pool, which he says is the best in Europe. After that, the Russian said that in Penza it would be ‘good if no one gets hurt’, and also that the tournament ‘probably won’t be watched by anyone, but it will be fun’.

We understand that the diving audience is not as wide as we would like, and we agree that we have to go beyond that if we want to attract attention.
