Yulia Jima became 32nd, Kristina Dmitrenko – 39th
Frenchwoman Julia Simon triumphed in the women’s pursuit in the fourth stage World Cup 2023/24 in German Oberhof.
The athlete completed the race in 31:45.2 seconds with two penalties. Second was her compatriot Justine Brezat-Boucher, who won the sprint yesterday. Also on the podium was Norwegian biathlete Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold.
The best result among Ukrainians is 24th place for Anastasia Merkushina. Note that Merkushina is one of three biathletes who completed the race without mistakes. Yulia Dzhima finished the race in 32nd place, and Kristina Dmitrenko finished 39th.
Tomorrow, January 7, the stage in Oberhof will end with two classic relays.
