The American won the stage ski race for the second time in her career
Norwegian Harald Estberg Amundsen and an American Jessica Diggins became the winners of the famous multi-day ski race Tour de Skiwhich took place in Italy and Switzerland.
Amundsen, 25, won the Tour de Ski for the first time. IN overall standings after 7 stages, the Norwegian was more than a minute ahead of the German Friedrich Moch. The third was the Frenchman Hugo Lapalue.
This is 32-year-old Diggins’ second Tour de Ski triumph. For the first time, an American won at the prestigious competition in 2021.
Second place in overall standings Norway’s Heidi Weng took the title. In third position is Kerttu Niskanen from Finland.
Note that Ukraine was not represented at the 2024 Tour de Ski.
