The blue-yellows took second place in the qualifying group
Ukrainian national handball team made it to the final stage European Championship U-18which will take place in Montenegro in the summer of 2024.
As part of the qualifying tournament held in the Czech Republic, the blue-yellows played three matches. The Ukrainians defeated Estonia (28:26), lost to the Czech Republic (21:29) and tied with Turkey (25:25).
Ukraine took second place in Group D with three points and received a ticket to the continental championship. The Czech Republic, the winner of the quartet, also qualified for the Euro.
Ukraine will play at the European U-18 Championship for the second time in history. In 1997, the blue-yellows took 10th place.
