Five Ukrainian tennis players remain in the top 100
Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) published an updated ranking of tennis players.
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina rose to 23rd place. The Ukrainian’s success is associated with her reaching the final of the event in Auckland, where Elina lost to Coco Gauff in three games.
Dayana Yastremskaya (No. 96), Yulia Starodubtseva (No. 152), Katarina Zavatskaya (No. 171) and Valeria Strakhova (No. 244) improved their positions. Note that Angelina Kalinina (No. 28) moved down one position, and Marta Kostyuk lost three places at once (No. 41)
The top 10 also underwent a slight change. The first racket of the world remains the representative of Poland Iga Szwiatek. But Elena Rybakina rose to third place, pushing Coco Gauff down.
