The player will return early from his loan in Al Duhail
Midfielder Philippe Coutinho will return to Aston Villa.
In September, the player went on loan to Qatar’s Al-Duhail until the end of the season. However, the Brazilian played only nine matches in this club (four goals and one assist).
A midfielder is not in Unai Emery’s plans. Therefore, the player is already looking for a new club. Two MLS clubs are interested in the Brazilian’s services: Inter Miamiwhere Ukrainian Sergei Krivtsov and Argentinean Lionel Messi perform, as well as Los Angeles Galaxy.
Coutinho has been playing for Aston Villa on loan from Barcelona since January 2022. The Birmingham club bought his contract from Barcelona in the summer of the same year for 20 million euros.
In the 2022/23 season, Coutinho played 22 matches for the Villans, scoring 1 goal. In the current campaign, he took the field in two matches.
Aston Villa are in second place in the Premier League.
