Ukrainian e-sportsman was recognized as the best player in the world three times
Representative of the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev took seventh place in the ranking of the best players of 2023 in CS:GO/CS2 according to the portal version HLTV.
In 2023, s1mple became EVP four times (a player who did not become the most valuable, but showed a high result in the tournament) based on the results of IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 17, IEM Rio and ESL Pro League Season 18, but together with NAVI did not win anything one trophy. Kostylev’s rating for the year was 1.18.
s1mple entered the top 20 best players according to HLTV for the eighth time in his career. Kostylev was recognized as the best player in the world three times – in 2018, 2021 and 2022. The Ukrainian took second place twice – 2019 and 2020. In 2016 he became fourth, in 2017 – eighth.
In October, s1mple decided to take a break from his professional career. His contract with Born to Win runs until October 2025.
