Olympic diving champion, RT journalist Elena Vaitsekhovskaya said that Roman Kostomarov has come a long way after the events that happened to him, emphasizing that 2024 will be the year of choice for him.

In early 2023, Kostomarov was hospitalized due to complications from pneumonia. The 46-year-old former skater began suffering from tissue necrosis and underwent several limb amputations. Kostomarov then underwent prosthetic surgery, and in December he returned to the ice on skates for the first time, participating in Ilya Averbukh’s show.

Although I fully admit that Kostomarov can be very good as a team player in any management structure – and not necessarily a sporting one.
