The new agreement runs until the summer of 2028
RB Leipzig announced a contract extension with the defender Lukas Klostermann. The 27-year-old player’s new agreement with the German club runs until the summer of 2028.
Klostermann became a Leipzig player in the summer of 2014. Since then, the defender has played 278 matches for the Bulls and scored 12 goals.
With Leipzig, Klostermann won the German Cup twice and also won the German Super Cup. In 2016, he helped the Bulls gain promotion to the Bundesliga.
This season, Lucas has played in 21 matches (1 goal) for Leipzig in all competitions.
Leipzig is in 4th place in the Bundesliga. The Bulls will play their next match against Eintracht Frankfurt on January 13.
