Ngannou wants a rematch with Fury

Francis is ready for a second confrontation with the Gypsy King

Former UFC world champion Francis Ngannou stated that he intends to have a rematch with the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

“I’m not looking for a winner in the fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. I’m looking for Tyson. Tyson owes me a fight. I don’t care about the winner of the fight between Usik and Tyson. I’m chasing Tyson. Whether he wins or loses, it doesn’t matter, I want Tyson.”

“My fight with Joshua? He has already seen me box, so he understands a little what will happen next. Unlike Tyson Fury, it was completely unexpected, he didn’t know what to expect. Joshua knows what to expect. I think this time I need to put in even more effort to complete the job we have planned.”

Ngannou lost a decision to WBC champion Tyson Fury in his only boxing fight. The Cameroonian made a good impression against the current champion title, knocking down the Gypsy King and inflicting several cuts on the Briton.

Earlier, the promoter of ex-world champion Anthony Joshua Eddie Hearn announced that AJ will fight his next fight with Ngannou in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The official press conference dedicated to the event will be held on January 15 in London.

The fight is expected to take place on March 9. Anthony’s fight with Deontay Wilder was scheduled for this date before the American lost to Joseph Parker. Hearn stated that the fight with Wilder is dead because Deontay is no longer at the level he was previously.

The Usik-Fury fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
