Today the capital’s club will resume the training process after the winter holiday
Forward Dynamo Vladislav Vanat commented on the upcoming team training camps and preparations for the second part of the Ukrainian Premier League season.
“As always, when you come back from vacation and switch to work, you want to train. In principle, this is not something new for us, because during every vacation we receive a similar program. Frankly speaking, there is not much difference. Of course, training camp is the hardest thing that happens in football.”
“Position in the UPL? I haven’t watched it, but we have three games in hand, and if we win them, we’ll be among the leaders.”
Vanat is one of Dynamo’s leaders this season. He has seven goals and five assists in 16 appearances for the Blues and Whites in all competitions. Vladislav was recognized as Dynamo’s best player in 2023.
In the Ukrainian Championship, Dynamo takes fifth place. The gap between the white-blues and the leader Krivbass is six points, while the Kiev team has three games in hand. The Premier League season will resume at the end of February.
At the end of the first part of the season, Dynamo officially appointed Alexander Shovkovsky as head coach. The specialist had previously temporarily acted as a mentor. Under the leadership of Shovkovsky, the Kiev team won four matches in a row.
