The 2024 European Championships take place in Kaunas (Lithuania). Italian figure skaters Lucrezia Beccari and Matteo Guarise won gold in pairs skating. Medals in other disciplines will be awarded on Friday and Saturday.

— Would this tournament be stronger with the Russians? Can world figure skating manage without us?

– Without a doubt, the level would be higher. If we remember, at the European Championships, our athletes were always on the podium in every event. Russian figure skating set the pace, mood and difficulty for everyone. It’s hard to compare with the Russian Championship, this year we had incredible competition in every event, and at the European Championship one or two people are fighting for first or second place. So I would like to see our people in Lithuania, it would add interest and spice,” Enbert told .
