Athletistic/ Figure skating. State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina believes that attention should not be paid to athletes who renounced Russian citizenship to participate in international tournaments.
Rodnina is convinced that changing citizenship is everyone’s desire.
“Support the guys. It’s their right. We have to write about those who win medals,” Rodnina said, as quoted by Sport24.
Earlier, the IOC noted that Russian athletes could participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in neutral status. However, this does not apply to team competitions.
