Kazansky “Zenith” won a victory over Soligorsk “Shakhtar” during the match of the 16th round of the Russian Volleyball Championship among men’s teams.
The match, held in Kazan, ended with a score of 3-0 (26:24, 25:14, 25:20).
Alexey Verbov’s side extended their Super League winning streak to 11 matches.
In another match, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk defeated Nizhnevartovsk Yugra-Samotlor – 3-0 (25:22, 25:13, 25:17).
Lokomotiv continues to lead the Russian Championship standings with 44 points, while Zenit Kazan (40) is in third place.
