Vitality is the best team of 2023
Frenchman Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbault recognized best player of 2023 V CS:GO/CS2 according to the portal version HLTV.
The Team Vitality sniper won this award for the third time in his career. ZywOo is equal in this indicator to the Ukrainian Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev, who took only 7th place in the 2023 ranking. Previously, Mathieu was recognized as the best player in the world in 2019 and 2020. In 2021 and 2022, the Frenchman was ranked second.
Together with Team Vitality, ZywOo won five tournaments in 2023 – IEM Rio, BLAST.tv Paris Major, Gamers8, BLAST Premier: Fall Final and BLAST Premier: World Final. At the end of each of these tournaments, Mathieu received the MVP award. ZywOo’s rating for the year was 1.31.
Second place went to Nikola “NiKo” Kovacs (G2 Esports), third place went to FaZe Clan player Robin “ropz” Cool.
The top 30 of the HLTV rating included Monte player Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev (27th place), as well as NAVI representatives Valery “b1t” Vakhovsky (28th) and Ivan “iM” Mihai (29th).
The best trainer 2023 became the ex-mentor of Team Vitality, now working with Team Falcons Danny “Zonic” Sorensen. The best team recognized Vitality.
