Athletistic/Other. Two-time Olympic hockey champion Vyacheslav Fetisov commented on former World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) President Craig Reedy’s statement.

The IOC reacted to Reedy’s statement on possible non-admission of Russian athletes to the Olympic Games-2024

“I know Reedy well,” RIA Novosti quotes Fetisov. “He says that the Russian and Belarusian athletes will not be able to participate in the Olympics, because they will not be able to participate in the qualifying competitions. You yourself recommend to the international federations not to authorize athletes, but then you say that they do not didn’t qualify. They (the IOC) have refugee teams that didn’t pass any selection, nothing… A lot of things that are incomprehensible. Here is this monkey football, where you need to change the rules – make it clear that in case of this or that conflict, all this happens automatically. So it will not be a sports organization, it will be a political entity. We have to explain why [россияне отстранены]especially in the last decade, a lot has happened.”
