Skaters Natalya Zabiyako and Zach Daleman are announced in pair skating for the tournament, which will be held in the city of Mississauga in the Canadian province of Ontario, according to the organizers’ website.
The competition will take place from August 18 to 21.
In May, news broke that 27-year-old Zabiyako intended to resume his career and change his sporting citizenship and was planning to compete with Canadian Daleman.
Zabiyako, paired with Alexander Enbert, became the bronze medalist of the World Championship (2019) and Europe (2018), won silver at the 2018 Olympics in the team tournament. At the start of the 2019/20 season, the couple announced the suspension of performances due to health problems with their partner, and in February 2020 announced their retirement.
