Three-time Olympic cross-country ski champion Alexander Bolshunov won the 20 km skiathlon at the stage of the Alfa-Bank Russian Cup in Kazan.
Bolshunov completed the 10 km classic and 10 km freestyle in 47 minutes 48.1 seconds. The second was Savely Korostelev (lag – 3.3 seconds), third – Artem Maltsev (+4.1).
For Bolshunov, this victory was the 15th in a row at the stages of the Russian Cup, he has never lost this season.
The next stage of the Russian Cup will take place in Tyumen in early February.
