I am so thankful to all the coaches, my parents and my family for supporting me. I will do everything I can to raise our banner to the top rung of the pedestal in front of us.

At the beginning of the war, my father volunteered, later signing a contract and joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine. While he didn’t know about my medal, but I really wanted to call him on the phone. He, if he can, a couple of times a week, if given the chance, he writes me what his condition is.

I write to him every day about my emotions and thoughts. I write to him how much I love him and how proud he is. The weather is very difficult now. I miss him so much and I am worried about him and the whole of our Ukraine, ”Onoprienko said.
