Figure skater Konstantinova has not ruled out a return to sport

Retired figure skater Stanislava Konstantinov in a conversation with a correspondent, she said that she now skates for fun, but did not rule out returning to big sports.

In January 2023, Konstantinova announced her retirement. The figure skater missed the 2021/22 season due to numerous injuries and a coronavirus infection.

During the summer, Konstantinova worked as a coach in the ISA Figure Skating Association training camps with Maurice Kvitelashvili, Denis Khodykin, Daria Usacheva and Olga Filippova. As learned, Stanislava now regularly keeps in shape at Megasport with coach Zhanna Gromova.

— Is it possible for you to return to sport?

— It’s too early to talk about it. Now I ride for fun. I had another long break. Just for fun, I try to restore the items. I won’t make any big statements just yet.

— So maybe you will play in a tournament with a show program?

— I would like to talk, of course. But there is such a serious selection. I will try to find something interesting to hook you on my performance. Besides, I will be in good shape,” Konstantinova told .

Konstantinova is a bronze medalist at the Universiade (2019), a silver and bronze medalist at the Russian Junior Championships and a silver medalist at the Grand Prix of the 2018/19 season in Helsinki.
