“Everyone has to work together”: Porter estimates Joshua’s chances of winning a rematch with Usyk

The American featured the strengths of the British boxer.

Former world champion Shawn Porter shared his opinion about the rematch between Anthony Joshua and WBA, WBO and IBF title holder Oleksandr Usyk.

According to the American athlete, the Briton can beat the Ukrainian if it acts aggressively.

“Having Robert Garcia in the corner will work because Anthony needs to be aggressive. If Joshua stays aggressive, he will win.”

Porter mentioned the ability and fitness of the British boxer.

“Jousha is big, has great skills. In the first fight he failed to apply his size along with his skills. Trying to be great, Joshua suppressed his attack and couldn’t use his size. For Anthony, everyone has to work together: he has to be aggressive, not be afraid to hit and use measurements, ”Porter said in an interview on YouTube channel KO Artist Sports.

It will be recalled that the rematch of Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Super Dome arena.

In the first match, which took place in September 2021, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.
