Athletistic / Figure skating. Former Russian figure skater, Olympic champion of the team championship Alexander Enbert spoke about the result of Anastasia Gubanova, representing Georgia, at the European Championships. Former Russian figure skater Gubanova took second place, losing to Belgian Luna Hendricks.

Enbert said Gubanova’s scores were unfairly lowered at the European Figure Skating Championships

“It seems to me that silver at the European Championship is a great achievement for any athlete. Even without the presence of Russia, a whole continent, a huge number of countries are competing, and in such a competition, winning a medal at the European Championship is very cool.

Athletes who win medals are certainly not responsible for whether someone is admitted or not. Nastya was the European champion, now she is second, there is a decline, but I am sure that her victories are still ahead of her,” Enbert quotes “Championship”.

Earlier, the expert said that Gubanova was unfairly underestimated. According to Enbert, even with the second result, the Georgia representative should have received more points.
